Drone Major Limited are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (policy), together with our Terms and Conditions of Use (Terms), our Cookie Policy and any other documents referred to in it, sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. 3. Information we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following information about you.

3.1. Information you give us

You may give us information about yourself by filling in forms on our websites or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our websites, purchase one of our services, browse and access content or express an interest in any service listed on our websites. This also applies for using the contact section of our websites for sending a message or calling our customer service number to enquire about products and services, speaking to one of our experts or when you wish to report a problem with our websites.

  • details of your requirements for and application of drone technologies;
  • related equipment and services.

With regard to each of your visits to our websites we may automatically collect the following information without limitation:

  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our websites (including date and time); pages you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs) and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

This information is not personal data, but if we combine it with personal data, we will treat the combination as personal data.

We may receive information about you from any of the other websites Drone Major Limited operates.

4. Use of your information

4.1. Use of information you give to us

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information and services that you request from us;
  • to provide you with information about other services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;
  • to notify third party suppliers of the products or services you express an interest in via our websites that you have expressed an interest in their product and service and to allow them to contact you in relation to that product or service using the contact details you provided to us when you registered as a registered user of our websites;

Part of the service we provide to you on our websites is to share your contact details and details of your requirements relating to drone technologies, associated equipment or services with third parties in connection with a product or service in which you have expressed an interest via our websites by clicking a product listing and viewing the webpage for a product or a service with a view to them providing you with information relating to these products or services (including, but not limited to, providing you with a quote for these products or services) and supplying such products and services to you. When these third parties use your information in this way, they will be acting as data controllers of your information and will have their own privacy policies. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.
  • Other processing: We process other information as is necessary for our legitimate business interests to ensure the proper functioning of our websites and the prudent operation of our business.

4.4. Other ways we may use your information

We also may use your information for at least the following purposes, either ourselves or through our service providers acting on our behalf:

  • business partners, members, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them for you;
  • advertisers and advertising networks that require the data to select and serve relevant adverts to you and others. We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, but we will provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 500 men aged under 30 have clicked on their advertisement on any given day). We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target (for example, women in SW1). We may make use of the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertisers' wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience;
  • analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our websites.

We will disclose your personal data to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • If we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by us about our customers will be one of the transferred assets.

6. Where we store your personal data

7. Security of your personal data

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share any password with anyone.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our websites; any transmission is at your own risk. 8. Storage duration of your personal data

We will hold your personal data for as long as you are a registered member of SUAS Global, Drone Major or any other platform operated by Drone Major Limited. If you decide to cancel your subscription and leave the platform, we will securely archive your personal data, change internal access controls to it and review it for erasure on a determined regular basis.

9. Do Not Track Signals

Except as otherwise specified in this policy, we do not alter the practices detailed herein based upon your selection of the Do Not Track setting or other opt out setting or feature that may be offered by your browser.

10. Children

You must be over the age of 16 to become a registered user of our websites. If you are under 16 years old, please do not provide us with your name, contact details or any other information about yourself. If you are between 16– 17, you represent that you have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use our websites and allow us to collect your personal data and use it in accordance with this policy.

Our websites may contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. You can request, at any time, access to the personal data we hold about you.

We will reply within 30 calendar days as specified by the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Under data protection law, you have the right to access the personal data which identifies you and that we are processing. You are also entitled to request information about you which we acquire by processing through automated means to be transferred to you or a third party. You are also entitled, in certain circumstances, to request that we stop processing information we hold on you, to object to any processing that we are undertaking on your information or to have the data erased.

  • You have the right to request access to your personal data and know more specifically why and how we hold it.
  • You have the right to rectification of inaccurate personal data, and we will ensure that inaccurate or incomplete data is erased, amended or rectified.
  • You have the right to have your personal data erased if:
    the data is no longer needed for its original purpose and no new lawful purpose exists;
    you withdraw your consent which is the lawful basis for the processing, and no other lawful ground exists;
    you exercise the right to object to the processing and we have no overriding grounds for continuing the processing;
    the data has been processed unlawfully; or
    erasure is necessary for compliance with EU law or specified British law.
  • Drone Major Limited have the right to decline your request for erasure of personal data to the extent that data processing is necessary:
    for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information;
    for compliance with a legal obligation which requires processing by EU or British law to which Drone Major Limited are subject, or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, like public health, archiving and scientific, historical research or statistical purposes; or
    for the establishment of, exercise of or defence against legal claims.
  • You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if:
    the accuracy of the data is contested (and only for as long as it takes to verify that accuracy);
    the processing is unlawful, and you request restriction (as opposed to exercising the right to erasure);
    Drone Major Limited no longer needs the data for their original purpose, but the data is still required by Drone Major Limited to establish, exercise or defend legal rights; or
    verification of overriding grounds is pending in the context of an erasure request.
  • You have the right to receive your own personal data, which you have provided to Drone Major Limited, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transmit the data to another data controller without hindrance from Drone Major Limited unless this is technically unfeasible.
  • Whenever Drone Major Limited justify in writing to you via privacy notice that the data processing we carry out on your personal data is on the basis of legitimate interests, you can object to such processing. As a consequence, Drone Major Limited would no longer be allowed to process your personal data unless it can demonstrate compelling, legitimate grounds for the processing. These grounds must be sufficiently compelling to override your interests, rights and freedoms, such as to establish, exercise or defend against legal claims.
  • You have the right not to be evaluated on the basis of automated processing. The right not to be subject to automated decision-making applies only if such a decision is based solely on automated processing and produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. The underlying processing of personal data is allowed if it is authorised by law, necessary for the preparation and execution of a contract or done with your explicit consent, provided that Drone Major Limited have put sufficient safeguards in place. Such safeguards might include the right to obtain human intervention on the part of Drone Major Limited or another equally effective opportunity to express your point of view to contest the decision.
